Rules for Organized Tennis in Steiner Ranch

1. Organized teams, leagues, social events and regularly scheduled clinics must be pre-approved by the tennis committee to insure no conflicts arise. League request forms are available in the management office.



2. All team captains must turn in rosters and nonresident fees to the management office at the start of each playing season.



3. Each nonresident owes $10 to the SRMA per season of play on Steiner Ranch teams.



4. Steiner Ranch tennis teams must consist of at least 75% Steiner ranch residents while striving for 100% resident membership. The Team Captain must be a Steiner Ranch resident.



5. Qualified residents must be chosen preferentially as team members over nonresidents.



6. Privileged logins for the tennis reservation system will be given to teams and leagues to allow reservations ahead of individual residents, with team matches taking precedence over neighborhood leagues. The team logins may only be used for matches, not practices.



7. Teams and leagues take precedence over lessons and clinics with a paid professional.



8. Organized tennis events such as socials and tournaments must be advertised to the tennis community at large so that all qualified players have the opportunity to participate.
